Howard Dean: 'I'm Nervous' That Justice Kennedy Might Retire

Former DNC Chairman and Vermont Governor Howard Dean said he’s nervous about the possibility that Supreme Court Justice Kennedy might retire. The worst-kept secret in Washington is that the 80-year-old judge is planning on leaving the bench. Dean said, “He is the swing vote, so we prefer that he not retire.” And he cited the fact that Kennedy voted with the liberal justices to create LGBT marriage equality.
