John Boehner, the former Republican House speaker, says the current crop of GOP lawmakers will never be able to repeal and replace Obamacare. He said, “It’s been around too long. And the American people have gotten accustomed to it.” Have we though? Have we gotten accustomed to the higher premiums, less choices, lack of ability to stay with your longtime doctors…? Or should we still be demanding that Republicans act on their promises to repeal and replace? This is, after all, the promise which made Boehner the speaker in the first place.
